Privacy Policy
How Evercroft Home handles the information you choose to keep about your home.
What Evercroft Home is
Evercroft Home is a home-memory application provided and operated by David Saunders, an individual, for organizing the details of where you live and sharing them with people in your household.
Information you choose to save
Evercroft Home stores account and household information through Supabase. This may include your email address and profile information; household membership and sharing details; spaces, items, memories, maintenance and service records; photos, uploaded documents and receipts; and related metadata such as dates, notes, warranties, models and serial numbers.
Notifications, device storage and beta feedback
If you enable them, Evercroft Home uses notification preferences and saved Home Care schedules to provide local reminders. Local session information and reminder scheduling information may be stored on your device. If you choose to send beta feedback, the app prepares a message containing your note, category, app version, platform, current screen and timestamp, then opens your email app or device share sheet. Evercroft Home does not create or store a separate feedback database record through this feature. The information is received only if you complete sending it. The external email or sharing service you select may process the information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Optional Evercroft Intelligence
Evercroft Intelligence is optional and can be turned off. When it is enabled, an intentional resident action may send user-selected photos, notes, questions, item and space details, serial numbers, warranty information, dates and maintenance context to Evercroft Home’s server and OpenAI to provide extraction or a grounded answer. Complete selected photographs may be sent to OpenAI. Evercroft Home does not intentionally add account email addresses or invite emails to AI requests, but personal information entered into household content or questions, or visible in photographs, may be included. Evercroft Home does not send household content to AI merely because the app opens or the dashboard renders. Factual Ask Everly responses are grounded in retrieved household records.
Sharing within your household
Household members may be able to view, create, edit and delete shared household records. Household owners control invitations, member removal and ownership transfer. Invite only people you are comfortable sharing your home information with. Removing a member or leaving a household changes access, while shared records may remain with the household subject to the service’s deletion and ownership rules.
How information is used
Evercroft Home uses information to provide home-memory organization, household sharing, search, Home Care, reminders, exports, account security, support and optional Intelligence features. Evercroft Home does not sell resident household data or use household memories for behavioral advertising.
Service providers and operational records
Depending on the feature, infrastructure and processors may include Supabase for database, authentication and storage services; OpenAI when optional Intelligence is used; Expo/EAS infrastructure where applicable; and Sentry if crash reporting is configured. When Intelligence is used, Evercroft Home may retain operational metadata including user and household ID, feature, provider and model, request ID, success or error status, token counts and timestamp. AI prompt, question, photo and response content is not stored in the ai_usage_log operational record. Evercroft Home also performs minimal operational API logging, such as request identifiers, methods, paths and response status. Each provider is used only for the relevant service purpose.
Retention, export and deletion
Evercroft Home retains information as needed to provide the service and preserve resident-controlled household history; the service does not currently promise a specific retention period for every type of information. You can export household data and use the account controls to request deletion. If you own a household with other members, you must transfer ownership before account deletion. If you are the sole owner, account deletion requires confirmation of deletion of the household and its shared records. If you are a non-owner member, account deletion removes that membership while shared household records remain; some historical attribution may be reassigned to the household owner. Exported data sent to another app or service is governed by that destination. Household sharing, archived history, backups, and legal or operational requirements may affect what is removed and when.
Security
Evercroft Home uses access controls, authenticated requests, household membership checks and protected storage practices appropriate to the service. No method of transmission or storage can be promised to be perfectly secure, and Evercroft Home does not claim end-to-end encryption or perfect security.
Children and age
Evercroft Home is intended for general household use by people who can form a binding agreement in their place of residence. It is not directed to children, and children should not create an account without appropriate adult involvement.
Policy changes and contact
Evercroft Home may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the updated version with a new effective date when appropriate. Contact Evercroft Home at support.evercroft@gmail.com.
